MP2011 - Amanda MozdzenAmanda Mozdzen was honored as Miss Polonia 2011 during our annual event, the Polish Festival on June 12, 2011 at Clinton Square in Syracuse, New York.

Amanda Mozdzen was voted Miss Polonia 2011 at the fifty seventh annual Polish Scholarship Festival held at Syracuse’s Clinton Square on Sunday, June 13. Amanda, who graduated in June from Whitesboro High School, played volleyball for six years and participated in the writers’ workshop at school. She was also a member of the Little Polish Dance Ensemble as a dancer and a teacher. Amanda enjoys traveling to Poland, calling it a “gorgeous country.” In the Fall, she will be attending Utica College to study nursing, with a goal of becoming a neonatal nurse, fulfilling her dream of helping children. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys volunteering in the Polish Community, at the Polish Veterans’ and the Polish Community Clubs.
