2019 Syracuse Polish Festival Entertainment Schedule:

Friday, June 21

Noon – Polish Flag Raising Ceremony at Syracuse City Hall
4 pm  pm Festival Opening Ceremony followed by Melody Lane
5:30 pm- 7 pm John Steven’s  Band
7 pm “Pole of the Year ” Award announced for Nancy Cummings followed by Funky Jazz Band
8: 10 pm Miss Polonia presentation
8:15 pm – 10:30 pm Diana Jacobs Band

Saturday, June 22

Noon – 1 pm Salt City Brass
1 pm – 2 pm Melody Lane
2 pm -2:30 pm Lechowia Dance Polish-Canadian Company From Toronto
2:30  pm – 3:30 pm Salt City Brass
3:30 pm – 4:30 Melody Lane
4:30pm – 5 pm Lechowia Dance Polish-Canadian Company From Toronto
5 pm – 7 pm John Steven’s  Band
7 pm – 7:15 pm Scholarship Awards followed by Lechowia Dance Polish-Canadian Company From Toronto

On Saturday, June 22rd at the request of and in cooperation with Syracuse Polish Festival and the Syracuse Polish Home Dogs Of War HMBUSA steel fighting group will honor the Battle of Grunwald/ small HMB demo as part of the annual Syracuse Polish Festival. The reenactment will be presented by Paul Kolenda from Chopin Language School.

Sunday, June 23

Noon- 1 pm John Gora Band

1pm-1:30 pm  Lechowia Dance Polish-Canadian Company From Toronto 1:30 pm- 2 pm – Annual ”Pierogi Eating Contest ”followed by John Gora Band
3:00 pm-3:30 pm Miss Polonia Awards & announcement of Raffle winners
3:30 pm – 5 pm Funky Jazz Band
5 pm Festival Closing

     

   The Syracuse Polish Festival will be featuring  4th  Annual

                                         ”Pierogi Eating Contest”

The contest will take place on Sunday, June 23 ,2019 @ 2:00 pm in the Festival stage arena. 

Contestants will have 3 minutes to eat as many pierogis as they can.

Entry Fee: $20.00 Please, make checks payable to Polish Scholarship Fund, Inc.

Registration during the Festival, Friday and Saturday until 10 pm in the PSF Tent.

Eligibility: Open to all over 18 years of age.

Maximum number of contestants will be limited to 10.

Sponsors: Syracuse Polish Festival, Eva’s Sweet Restaurant and Polish Community Club in Utica.
