The PSF has awarded more than <b>$400,000<\/b> in scholarships and has helped about <b>four hundred students<\/b>. The scholarship can be used at any accredited college, university, or trade school.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p>Amount: $1,000<\/p>\n<p>Number of Scholarship Awards up to 10.<\/p>\n<p><strong> Deadline: March 15th<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Eligible applicants must be a full-time undergraduate student,\u00a0must have lived for a minimum of two (2) years in Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, or Oswego counties \u2013 Must have been accepted for admission as a full-time student at any accredited college, university, or training school.\u00a0College-bound students of Polish descent.<\/p>\n<p>Note: Only one scholarship will be awarded per family.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>If any required document is not submitted or submitted\u00a0an\u00a0incomplete way, your application will not be assessed.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>How are students selected?<\/h4>\n<p>Students must volunteer at the Syracuse Polish Festival unless extenuating circumstances arise to be eligible for the scholarship.<\/p>\n<p>Students are selected on the following basis:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Scholastic Aptitude<\/li>\n<li>Financial Need<\/li>\n<li>Career Aspirations<\/li>\n<li>Extra-Curricular Activities<\/li>\n<li>Participation in Polish Community Activities<\/li>\n<li>Official transcript from school<\/li>\n<li>Recommendation Letters<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Application Process:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>1. Once you are done reading about the general information, click on \u201cApplications\u201d. You\u2019ll find Application Forms for the Scholarship Award above.<\/div>\n<p>2. Download the file and complete it. You\u2019ll be required to provide personal information and your career goals. You\u2019ll also be asked to list down the extracurricular activities you\u2019ve done, including the activities organized by the Polish Community.<\/p>\n<p>3. Attach a copy of your transcript from the latest school you\u2019ve attended. (College freshmen should submit both college and high school transcripts.)<\/p>\n<p>4. Provide letters of recommendations. Each applicant may submit a maximum of three letters.<\/p>\n<p>5. After you\u2019ve provided all the necessary information, you and your parent\/guardian will need to sign the form.<\/p>\n<p>6.
