The Polish Scholarship Fund (PSF), since its inception in 1954, has served to preserve and promote Polish heritage within the Central NY area. As part of this goal, our organization has awarded several $1000 scholarships each year to deserving college students.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syracuse Polish Festival <\/strong>will soon again take over Clinton Square and provide a magical ambiance for the residents of Central New York with the three-day family-friendly celebration of Polish culture, heritage, and traditions kicking off Friday, June 12 and running until 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please join us to celebrate Polish culture and taste traditional Polish beer, cuisine, including pierogi, kielbasa, bigos (hunter\u2019s stew), cabbage rolls, and the best Polish beer. A wide variety of traditional Polish souvenirs, jewelry, T-shirts, hats and other arts and crafts will be sold during the event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the festival, kids can enjoy a variety of hands-on arts and crafts and interactive games and inflatable activities. Our efforts are based on providing a fantastic, fun time for all those who visit by holding to high standards and ensuring comfort. There will be activities for every member of the family. One of the main attractions is the annual “Pierogi Eating Contest” and “Miss Polonia” presentation and to provide a variety of entertainment, including the sounds of Polka, Pop\/Jazz, Dance-Funk music along with beautiful folklore dance performances by the group “Lechowia Dancers” from Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syracuse Polish Festival will be featuring 8th Annual\u201d Pierogi Eating Contest\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The contest will take place on Sunday, June 14, 2026 @ 2:00 pm in the festival stage arena.  Contestants will have 3 minutes to eat as many pierogi as they can.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entry Fee<\/strong>: $20.00 Please make checks payable to Polish Scholarship Fund, Inc.
Registration during the Festival, Friday and Saturday until 10 pm in the PSF Tent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility<\/strong>: Open to all over 18 years of age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sponsors of Pierogi Eating Contest: Syracuse Polish Festival, Eva\u2019s European Sweets and Polish Community Club from Utica.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prize:<\/strong>

Maximum number of contestants will be limited to 10.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
